V-type sealing ring is a kind of lip sealing ring, which is one of the earliest and most widely used forming fillers.It is mainly used for reciprocating motion, as a piston or piston rod seal.Rarely used in rotation or as a static seal.

 

V-ring has the following characteristics:

(1) Good sealing performance;

(2) allow a certain eccentric load, and eccentric movement;

(3) can be used in multiple lap overlap, and by adjusting the compression force to obtain the maximum sealing effect;

(4) Impact pressure and vibration pressure;

(5) when the packing can not be loaded from the axial direction, it can be used with incision, as long as the incision is staggered during installation, and the sealing effect is not affected.The disadvantage is that the friction resistance is larger than that of other forming fillers.
